Testimonials

What our customers are Saying

Had an amazing meal here. Ordered the Hanid, which is the lamb shank, that comes with rice, and also ordered a quarter chicken as well. The lamb shank is so tender and just falls off the bone, and the chicken was also falling off the bone which you don't find often. Paired with the bisbaas, the green chutney, there is nothing that beats this. Portion sizes are great, and the two of us had plenty leftovers to take home. Also tried the mango lassi, which was very sweet, but still enjoyed it. And don't forgot to get a Shani too.

We visited this restaurant recently and had an absolutely fantastic time from start to finish! Every dish was fresh, tasty and cooked perfectly. You can really tell the chefs care about what they make. Portions are just right, prices are fair for the quality you get. We especially loved the favourite dish, baasto / Brice /– it was full of flavour! The staff were so friendly, polite and quick. They checked on us often, answered all our questions, and made us feel welcome right away. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The place is clean, bright and very comfortable. It’s quiet enough to talk, nicely decorated, and feels great for both family meals or a catch-up with friends. My kids loved the restaurant this was amazing.

As a Somali visiting from north west of England, I’m glad I travelled from South Wimbledon to come here. I would highly recommend. I went with AbdulAziz recommendation for the lamb shank haniid. I would highly recommend this place 😊

Reccomended for low carb / Diabetic. They serve Somali food, which I've never had, so I didn't know what to expect with taste or my BS. Turns out, it's great! 😝 The platter had cabbage & carrots, greens, lentils.... The rolly things... I can't tell you what those are even called. Anjeero it's soft, bread-like, almost like a tortilla, and you just tear off pieces and use it as utensils, but of course you can eat it too. I had one, but could easily do without it next time. Everything was so delicious! I'm a very traditional eater, and trying different types of food is rare for me, but I'm glad I did! I'll be going back for sure
